Is there a server that meets the following criteria:

Free sign-up without detailed personal information No restriction on match lengths and log saves for free accounts. Fast enough, "clean enough" and has a good enough interface and reputation that there would be no good reason to refuse playing there (at least for a non money event like Esprit)?

Why not FIBS, which for some reason isn't even mentioned on Warp Gammon's playsite review page. The available GUI's are adequate and (I think) allow for match logging -- so does the text interface but I suppose that's too retro for today's players (as it was for most of yesterday's, too!).

I'm a bit confused about your comments about GG's $150 membership fee and comments in the Warp Gammon forums about its being a money game site. AFAIK, despite past announcements or plans, currently at GG there are no paid memberships and there are no money games. (And good luck, GG, with getting anyone to pay a $150/year membership fee in 2010 or beyond -- those days, IMHO, are gone).

Personally, I'd agree with the Warp forum posters who say that GG's collecting of real names, addresses and phone numbers from new play-for-fun players is unjustified.
