After this, XGR+ rolled boxes and we couldn't get off the gammon.

Wow. 6-6 was the only immediate rolled which really concerned us, and we even made the best play to counter it -- for naught as it turned out.

Don't have these mesmerized, as some here do. 24/15 is my play as it leaves no shots on our side of the board and doesn't leave a blot in range of opp's 8-point stack. (And of course the race is close, which is a factor in favor of this move, too.)
