Sorry for the ambiguity in my reply to Joe. I now see how you could think it was aimed at you.

I wanted to applaud him for not trying to get an "unfair" advantage.

I didn't mean to imply that you try to gain an extra edge by using clocks.

However, I stand by my comment. There are players out there who will use a clock if they think it can give them an advantage.

I am happy to know that you are not one of them and am also happy to know that you also play legal moves. (I guess for this to be an advantage to you must mean that your opponents usually make illegal plays that are to your advantage. It is my experience that most illegal plays are to the advantage of the player making the illegal plays, though I haven't got any stats to support this statement.)
