Evidence, but not conclusive proof. You cannot have conclusive proof one way or the other I think, and expecting to be corrected by someone smart if wrong.

I think this sometimes end up as a kind of unpractical word play; in Timothy's example, you cannot proof that the demon is not producing random numbers, but if someone would wish to bet the next number is a 9, what odds would you give?

All "you's" same at the French "on" or Dutch "men", BTW.
