Don't bother telling me it's part of the game or that's something I should have come to terms with long ago with what I do. I know, I know, and I know.
Then you also know that if you won 99% of the time, you'd never be able to make any money playing the game.
In fact, when I was told about my bad attitude towards social bg, I had no idea I had ever skipped playing in a tournament that someone would take in a bad way.
So for those of you who said I had an obligation to play, do you still think the same given the additional details?
I don't have a problem with it. The way you explained it all, makes perfect sense to me.
However, maybe you better come to grips with how Joe Average sees you.
Hey look, isn't that Stick Rice? That's cool, he came to our tournament. You don't know who Stick is? I think he's on the Giants list, and he runs some website. Some guy I talked to last week said he's kind of a jerk, but somebody else said he's cool, so I don't know. What's that? He didn't enter our tournament? I wonder why not. Yeah, who knows. Maybe he thinks our little club is beneath him? I might think that way too if I was on the Giants list. That sucks, I always wanted to play a Giant, and see if they're really all that.
Maybe you don't really care, but I find that hard to believe, otherwise you would just tell people to go f*** themselves (you might anyway).
But, like I said, it doesn't bother me. If I ran a club that way, I wouldn't have any problem with what you did, based on how you explained it.
