PGA Championship -- OT

As some of you may know, there is a guy by the name of Andrew Martinez who plays a few ABT events each year -- he's a super nice guy. But he misses a lot of backgammon tournaments because they interfere with his regular job -- professional golf caddie. He is one of the most revered caddies of all time. He currently bags for Tom Lehman (eighteen years running). Before that he caddied for John Cook and, are you ready, he caddied for Johnny Miller during Miller's heydey.

Anyway, I know Andrew fairly well and look forward to his perspective on this fiasco the next time I see him. Would be nice to know his take on the rules, the players' reactions and perspectives, the respective responsibilities of caddy and player, etc.

You might have seen Andrew on TV Saturday. He had a front row center view of Lehman's hole-in-one on seventeen. When they showed Lehman celebrating of around the tee there was Andrew holding the bag with a big old smile.
