Neil vs. Mochy on GG; why I took it private

Several people messed up and didn't whisper and were asked to do so. It was also explained to some newb to type a dash first. Then when someone didn't whisper for the second time and I didn't really care for what he said, I blinded him. Then someone also said something, and I didn't blind him and then he quickly said something in regards to expecting me to blind him so I did.
Then someone said something wondering what the over/under was on how people would be blinded and that was the last straw. Therefore, I made the match private.
After that a couple players messaged me a few times complaining and I nearly stopped the match. I also considered just resigning and being done with peoples' BS, but that isn't fair to my teammates nor to Mochy who was also trying his best to produce a very fine effort.
I'd have stopped the match, but that, for some reason, screws up GG's recording I think and you won't get one continuous match file when you resume.
(One would think with terrabyte harddrives nearly free that they could save stopped matches or matches where a player disconnects for a few days !!)
A shame that we can't relax on GG and try to play our best vs a truly world class opp and have truly world class players like Falafel and Fernando commenting and not be worried about seeing their chat.
GG the balls in your court as to whether you really want to become the place for world class backgammon.
