While I don't understand this rollout fully, it seems that one of the messages is that picking up the second checker and containing it is very important. So don't play 6/1(2), even though that looks better for containing the back checker (this latter hypothesis can be checked by lifting Black's home-board blot and rolling out the new position). Then perhaps the remaining equity differences come from examining how all of Black's immediate rolls play out. This hypothesis can be partly checked by seeing if the relative ordering of the top five plays in the rollout agrees with their ordering according to 4-ply or 5-ply evaluation.
