opening roll Nactation question

Bob: My opponent opened with 21 as 13/11 8/7. How to nactate? I suggest 21cents. (but would use the cents symbol).
Nack: The symbol "¢" can be typed via MS-Word, Insert/Symbol/Special Characters, Insert. I think someone once told me a more direct way, but it isn't be as fast as typing a symbol directly from a standard keyboard.
To be clear, I don't currently (and I might never) use "¢" or other off-keyboard characters in Nactation.
For the second member of the $ family, I use "%" (percent), which is to the right of "$ on the keyboard. The word "cent" (which can be thought of as a sub-dollar) is a subset of the word "percent," another way to remember it as alternate Slot (if you like).
In short, for 21 played 13/11 8/7, you can use % (alt slot). I'll address the $ (Slot) family hierarchy in more detail in the Matt/Petter/Tim/Petter subthread.
Incidentally, in the more common case that you're hitting with 13/11 8/7*, you would use "H" for Hit. (Down convention: When using H, if only one number hits, the other number is assumed to come down.)
