Small Board in Florida. Comments?

I agree with Bill that the standard tournament sized (1.75 inch checkers) board should be given preference over smaller boards. I also think the standard should be given preference over the (infrequently encountered) larger boards.

Further, I think the condition of the board should be taken into account. I had to play a match a few years on a cork playing field that was so worn that the colors of the points were indistinguishable. A good-condition board should get automatic precedence over one where you can't see where to play the checkers, IMHO.
