5-3 and either 5-2 or 5-4 (depending upon where Blue leaves the blot) give White the choice of hitting or breaking the homeboard.
I thought a bit more last night and wondered if a bigger factor is how White plays 6-x when Blue keeps his 20-point and shifts from the 9-point to the 7-point. In general neither breaking the 11-point nor running one is good for White, and again Blue's extra shooter (when not hit) adds shots. Blue will often PoH in the homeboard, so maybe it's a small effect. Then again we're only talking about a few ticks (hundredths) in equity difference.
