In Response To: Appreciation of Tom Machaj (Bill Riles)

Tom (presumably with experience from directing the local club) was good from the beginning of the Wisconsin State Championships, and he has gotten even better with more experience. In my observatino he is particularly good at remaining calm when those dealing with him are just the opposite.

No question in my mind that Bill (and Beth, and Alan, and...) will do a very good job next year. Tom has done a lot of valuable service for the game and certainly deserves "retirement" so he can play more, or do whatever with that time that he so chooses.
