The most probable scenario is that White closes the homeboard in which case Blue wins <20% cubeless. However the tails that involve Blue entering with a hitting 1-6 (assuming White leaves that point slotted), White never making the full prime and Blue escaping, White stumbling while trying to close the homeboard, etc. should give Blue a take here, IMO, particularly because some of those outliers lead to gammons.

As far as whether or not White should redouble, I'm not sure. Maybe White is supposed to wait for more cover numbers. Practically speaking I suspect a redouble will often be right, and when wrong -- not by much.
