Backgammon Development Thoughts

I'm encouraging all to consider taking some step in your local areas. Seems we could have some natural locations -- the Madison Club w/ Univ. of Wisconsin; Stick/Mary/Chris w/ Ohio State; Bay Area Club with Berkeley, Stanford, and the many schools in that area; Chicago w/ Northwestern and other schools there; NYC w/ Columbia, NYU, and others; Atlanta w/ Georgia Tech. We could go on and on.

Joe, Alex, Justin, and others have blazed the way at UCLA. They started through the Chess Club, I believe. That has also been my starting point at Rice. Let's all try to do a bit ourselves. New players and young players are what we need.
