Chargers bonehead call's at the end of the game

In Response To: Chargers bonehead call's at the end of the game (Joe Russell)

Priority #1 is scoring a touchdown. As they showed in the game, it's not a given that they get the ball in from the 4 yard line just because they have 4 downs. I think the rest of the information such as clock management, defining what they should be doing, whatever, pales in comparison to priority #1. Whatever is the best way to get that done I say do it.

In other words, if it's so obvious to you and the rest of the world that running on first down has to be the way to go, (optional) passing sounds right to me if you're chasing priority #1. I know nothing about their QB, their receivers, their running game, etc...Everything I say is theoretical and has nothing to do with the teams involved in the game itself.
