Would NFL coaches make good BG players?

Kubiak could have volunteered a single shot which if hit, loses (with the cube) but if missed, wins (with the cube). He chose to give his opp about 50-50 chance to win the race instead.

This is CLASSIC NFL decision making: Don't put the game on the line for one play. Prolong the game as much as possible and hope something good happens.

Of course there are exceptions, as last year's NE vs. IND decision by Belichick shows. He went for a 4th and 2, which if successful pretty much wrapped up the game. It didn't work and just about every dufus writer and armchair playcaller called him an idiot.
