pass inteference during PAT

What's the penalty for pass interference in the end zone on a 2-point conversion? Seems like the regular rule would let defenses basically interfere at will.
Interesting question. I have the 2006 rulebook and I can't find an exception to the standard rule. Of course isn't this the same situation if the ball is on the 1 yardline and a team is trying to score a TD? (Maybe the rule ought to be that in standard play, the SECOND time of a drive where P-I occurs in the endzone, the offense is awarded a TD and for PAT, the FIRST time results in 2 points. Or maybe for standard play, if the LoS is inside the 2-yardline then P-I in the endzone is a TD.)
Sidelight: I hate the NCAA rule where if pass interference occurs > 15 yards from the Line-of-scrimmage then it's just a 15-yard penalty. Defenses take advantage of that rule ALL THE TIME. This is the one rule difference between NFL and NCAA that I would most like to see changed.
