Middle-game double 3's to play

8/5(2), 8/2 appears very strong and compact. However, does it fit Blue's GP? I don't think so. Rather, it seems to fit White's GP. White has the timing and Blue has a lot of desert to cross.
For me, 18/15(2) looks like a must here. The 18-point is NOT good when you are out-timed (usually accompanied by leading the race). Four continuations I considered:
13/7. You'd like to own the landing spot, but it's not that easy to cover, and for starters you leave 12 shots. (Opp should have no hesitation to give up his anchor to hit here.)
13/10(2). You're going to need to clear the midpoint sometime soon as well. However, giving opp 1's and 6-4's seems like quite a concession.
8/5(2). Five point is always good, and (if you believe Stick's recent article on Phil's site :) almost always right. Definitely a gain, but is it worth giving up the (quite valuable, here) 8-point AND leaving the 13 shots?
8/2. At first glance this play looks weak -- using a builder for the 5- and 7-points to go behind opp. However, there are two advantages: A) there are reasonable chances that you don't want a blot in your board sometime in the future. No HB blots can be a deterrent for opp to leave his own, while having them can be just the opposite. B) you leave 0 shots this turn.
Granted, I could live to regret it, but I'm keeping the 8-point and leaving no blots.
18/15(2), 8/2.
