In Response To: Clock rules at scheduled ABT tournaments (Daniel Murphy)

At this year's (2010) Chicago Open, right before play began, there was some uncertainty as to whether one ('preferred') or both ('optional') players could cause a match to be clocked in the Open/Championship event. I don't remember his justification, but Rory said a clock would be used (if available) if EITHER player in a match requested it.

Hopefully (especially if I'm attending :) 2011 will be similar.
