Kharkov Open - format in fact

In Response To: Kharkov Open - results (Daniel Murphy)

The format was changed. First round: 5 tours of moneygames (doubling cube with Jacoby rule, 1 hour for tour, Swiss system), second round: knock out for the best 8 (7-9 pt matches with doubling cube). This format was applied for "amateurs" and "masters". "Grandmasters" was cancelled. It seems that mixing of Swiss and knock-out systems is not good idea.
