Timeout before field goals - redux

In Response To: More OT Football Decisions (Gregg Cattanach)

At the end of the Atlanta-SF game SF made the obligatory time out before the final field goal attempt. One this occasion, the time out was called well before ATL was ready to snap it. The knew the time out was called, but went ahead and snapped and kicked it. The commentators said Bryant was happy to have a practice kick and said he gave Singletary a looks like "I can do this all night long if you want me to."

So I guess, at least for some kickers, it isn't annoying to have to do it twice and might actually be helpful. So I withdraw my request to change the rules about time outs before field goals.
