Very well done! I enjoyed the films. A little London, a little theory, a little excitement, a little meet the players, and a nice collection of pivotal match positions. Thank you Zoe and Sean, and Mike, and Paul and Chris, and all the players.
"And one reason that backgammon is so interesting is that all sorts of bizarre and crazy unbelievable things can happen, and they do happen. And this did happen in the tournament." -- Paul Weaver.
In one clip, Zoe rightly highlighted the beginning of the World Backgammon Tour and the start-up of the U.S. Backgammon Federation as two bright spots in 2010 -- much needed boosts after the demise of the 2007-2008 Partouche tour and the apparent shift of focus of the WSOB this year to online backgammon. Let's hope for growing attendance at ABT tournaments and throughout Europe. Best wishes to BIBA, DBgF, SBGF, NBGF, WBA and WBF. And let's hope the WBGT continues in 2011 in support of both traditionally well-attended tournaments (this year, the Nordic, Swedish, Japan and French) and newer tournaments like the London Open.
