I own one of his games -- Marrakesh. It is a hybrid game between cards and backgammon, although the backgammon part is rather abbreviated -- each player has a homeboard and a few (maybe six, can't remember) checkers are distributed there based upon some random dealing of cards. Then there is a kind of bearoff. (I haven't played it for nearly 30 years so I'm rusty on the rules.) It seemed like an interesting game at the time, anyway. I saw him play a game of it against Ozzie at a BG tournament around 1980 (+/- a couple years).

Konsil had an early computer and ran a few of the problems from his Quiz Book, publishing the results in Games magazine in the early 80's. I wrote an article somewhere (probably Hoosier Backgammon Newsletter) "critiquing" those results after using a bot (probably JF, but maybe even EXBG). I think his bot went 0-6 compared to the newer bot's rollouts. And they were megaWoppers.
