In Response To: The Time Management Problem (Bob Koca)

"You could imagine just playing all 13 games and seeing who wins at least 7. The winner of that contest would obviously be the same as if you just stopped after someone reached 7 wins. So each game is eqaully important. Give 1 minute to each."

I don't buy this argument. The first game is guaranteed to contribute to the final result. Game 13 has a very low probability of mattering. Surely there must be benefit to spending an extra second in game 1 and risking only having 59 seconds to use in game 13 in the unlikely event that it matters.
