With this condition i cannot find an case where not using equal time is better.

I think i can proove it mathematicaly for 3 games, but did not manage it yet.

I also was wrong in my statement about the last game not mattering as much.

However, the fact that Bob's argument does not refer to the condition that the ER is strictly decresing with time and the example i provided shows that there has to be a flaw in the reasoning.
