Right, your condition means that equal time allotting means minimizing the total error and the total game winning chance(and that even independently of Bob's argument)... but that is not the same as optimizing the match winning chance. For example, in a best-of-three, the following game winning chance vector [0.61;0.61;0.61] is much worse than [0.8;1.0;0.0]. That example is of course interesting in another way in the context of this thread, as it shows that doing things very unequally can be preferable. It's much harder for me though to come up with an example where gwc has an upper bound of 0.5.
