Bill, I resent the implication that I would not be able to find the White House. Remember that I'm the guy who found the Lincoln Memorial while looking for a hotel across the river in Virginia. Surely it would not have taken much more incompetence to have found the White House.

I agree with all you've said. I will add that I am sure that many players will not attend events scheduled for back-to-back weekends. With the popular Peoria event last weekend, I'm sure that many simply chose to sit this event out. With this clocks-required event, I am sure this had something to do with many of the clock proponents being absent. There are now 3 ABT events scheduled for next January (NY Metro, US Open, New Mexico), and I am certain that this glut of events in a short time period will cause attendance to suffer at all of them.
