Yes, it absolutely does. From my post: "But quite clearly on the brochure it says for the Masters that it is recommended that you pre-register. "

This was completely my fault, not yours and I hope that nobody read my post thinking otherwise.

I for one want to say in addition to all the feedback how smoothly this event has run thus far, and that I also very much appreciate what Chiva is trying to do to help support and grow Backgammon in the US.
