For example, in a best-of-three, the following game winning chance vector [0.61;0.61;0.61] is much worse than [0.8;1.0;0.0]. That example is of course interesting in another way in the context of this thread, as it shows that doing things very unequally can be preferable. It's much harder for me though to come up with an example where gwc has an upper bound of 0.5.

Hmm, sounds like you are right. I am not sure how to handle that. Asking for equal opponents sounds a bit far-fetched and may not solve the dilemma anyway. Help Bob ! :-)
