Responding to Klaus Evers

Klaus writes, "I am sure that I don't get all the cynisism, subtle irony and sense of humor that lie in your postings because English is a foreign language for me."
Well, Klaus, when I go back and try to reread something I posted a day earlier, I am totally unable to figger out what I meant by it. In other words, even I do not understand the irony, humor and wisdumb in my postings.
Klaus asks, "Never met you before, maybe will in Paris?!"
Yes, I am going to Paris. However, not until next year. I was just in Paris last month. Had some weird expereriences. Around midnight I heard loud moaning, groaning and sreaming noises from the couple in the room next door to me. It went on for a long time. I was really afraid the poor lady was getting seriously hurt. Finally the commotion ended and I went to sleep. Less than eight hours later, I woke up to the same bizarre noises from the same couple next door. Hope they were also able to fit in a 4 PM session. It's an awful long time to have to wait from 8 AM until midnight.
Around 9 AM that morning, I heard a loud persistant knock on the door of my hotel room. When I answered, some guy I had never seen before was asking if I was Paul Weaver. I admitted to it, and he shoved 2000 euros (forty bills, each was 50 euros) into my hand and left immediately. I never saw him again.
Never figgered out if the guy with the 2000 euros had anything to do with the noisy couple.
I think next time I go to Paris, I will stay in the same room of the same hotel and take my chances on what happens.
Good luck to you in Paris next week!
