Regarding Opening RO's

In Response To: Who Among Us Knows All There Is To Know About How To Play An Opening 32? (Paul Weaver)

When XG2 comes out, I'll be using my fastest computer here to do XGR+ RO's of the close opening plays and I suspect 32 to be included as a candidate, although I'll start with 64 which is the most interesting opening since there are 3 quite divergent plays.

This 4.4 Ghz hexacore will likely take a month to do 46k of a play like 64 where there's 3 plays to consider.

However, as this is really beating the opening roll to death, and since I want to use my computer resources to help me better understand other areas of BG, I don't expect to be doing any AtS XGR+ opening RO's nor do I expect to be doing any responses (unless a couple truly interest me and I think that the highest level possible for RO may prove interesting).

Hopefully, technology will advance a bit over the next few months, and Mobo's for dual hexacore chips will be out and/or octocores. Then I will buck up and buy a real supercomputer.
