I think that Bill's point in this post

Is that with respect to your equation,

B x C x A

and

A x C x B + ((1.0 - A) X D),

and let's assume for the sake of argument that D = 0,

that the C in the first equation is not the same, but in fact is greater than, the C in the second equation.

And, frankly, I agree with him.

And no, I did not build any bridges.
