Correct, some little kids in 2050 are going to ask Stick how come he plays so bad after having studied the game for 50 years ;-)

I actually hope that there is still a lot of scope for improvement (but doubt it). The level at which the best players play is so high - if the best chuck maybe 3-4% MWC in an 11-point match, then it is clear that with rakes (etc.) playing these cannot be a profitable activity - even with perfect play. I find it a bit discouraging that perfect play only gets such a small edge over the best players.

20 years ago, perfect play may have had a 60-65% edge against the best players in an 11 point match.
