Rich: What would be the average PR of XGR+ in matches against itself? Maybe 1.5? And how much better than that would rollouts be?

The Depreli study gives a good hint about that value ( http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?frames;read=64993 ).

As you may remember it compares the bot/level to RO. In this study XGR+ is about 0.5 PR compared to the rollouts.

Because only positions that at leas one bot/level played were rolled, there are surely a few that were not roll and that all bots have missed. But I would think it should be rather low.

Also, some rollout will be overturn using a different bot and level. Again i do not think it will be much (but probably more important than the position not rolled at all).

My gut feeling is that there is that XGR+ is between 0.8 and 1.2 PR to perfection.
