What are we talking about here. There is the question of whether the equity is defined - meaning does it exist. And there is the question of whether we can calculate it absolutely in finite time. The oracle knows the result of any infinite calculation as long as it converges, and such an equity is classified as defined in my book.
Given the finite number of backgammon positions (in fact the smaller subset of positions reachable from the opening position), and if we presume that the probability that a backgammon game ends in a finite number of moves is 100%, it seems obvious that the exact equity calculations of all positions must converge.
Given enough time and computational power, the equity of any backgammon position could be calculated in finite time to within any arbitrarily small, but non-zero degree of accuracy desired.
