Yes, with this idea, you could attach a number to every position, but arguably it would not be a meaningful cubeful equity.
Let's look at it from another angle. If we do cap the cube value at, say, 2048, you will surely agree that it is not enough to consider only one cube value, because the assumption that the equities of the same positions with other cube values can trivially be computed from them breaks down, right? So, in this case we have to consider the complete set of positions. And that's no problem, given enough computational resources, we will be able to compute the equity of each of them.
Now here's the problem: In our capped cube calculation, the equity of the position considered in this thread would drastically differ from what you get in your don't-consider-the-cube-value-calculation. And it gets worse and worse if we cap the cube at even higher levels. It does not converge.
If that's no problem for you, go ahead and call what you computed cubeful equity.
