If Neil Kazaross works with XG, that is enough reputation. He named also Snowie "the Ford Edsel". The biggest drawback is, that Snowie has no multi core support. XG supports up to 64 threads. Even from the stoneaged Pentium 4 Snowie used only the half. And there is no development anymore, the developers ar working on a hold'em bot. Perhaps this will destroy the poker hype. So: XG.
For the positions, there will be better players. By the way, i have no interest in constructed positions.
