Yes, if you were hoping that XG's evaluation at all levels was perfect, you were mistaken. However, it is clearly the strongest bot there is. While there may be some positions Snowie gets right and XG gets wrong, there are many more positions that XG gets right and Snowie gets wrong. The perfect bot has yet to be invented. The best you can do is to use the best tool available which is XG. And when you add speed to the equation, XG wins hands down. I was a Snowie holdout for many years when everyone was using GNU. But now using XG, it is clear that Snowie is a lumbering dinosaur.
By the way, if you are contriving positions and want to get a good laugh at Snowie's expense, take 14 of your checkers off the board and put the last checker on the bar. Give Snowie an outside prime. Watch and laugh as it tries to pick up a second checker that doesn't exist.
