5 minutes per point in a tournament? This is crazy and turns the concept of clock into nonsense.

The main purpose of a clock on a tournament is to have a somewhat smooth flow of the schedule.

Imagine the French Open fits round match to 17 points starting at 9 pm being played with a setting of 5 minutes per point + 15 secs delay.... You´re guranteed a 4 hours match !
