How do we know, for sure, that the box is not controlled, electronically and remotely, by aliens hovering in a space craft suspended 86,000 miles from Earth? Until you can prove to me that is not the case, we can never really be confident a baffle box is fair.

This argument, and most others I have heard suggesting that we cannot be completely sure of the fairness of the baffle box, are specious arguments in that the issue is whether or not we are less likely to have cheating, cocked dice, and dice thrown on the floor with a baffle box as opposed to not using one.

The answer is clear, and to most who have tried and used baffles boxes, like me, they strongly prefer them for many, many reasons.
