Is Vegas the biggest tournament in the US?

The Michigan Summer Championships has been the largest drawing tournament in the US, but the Las Vegas Open (November) also draws a large field. Vegas allows rebuys, which haven't been done in Novi to my knowledge.

I haven't seen attendance for this year LV Open, but Michigan drew 83 in the Open, 64 in Intermediate, and 15 in Novice.

Both tournaments are run by excellent directors, Carol Joy Cole in MI and Howard Markowitz in LV, although Howard remained organizer this year but turned the directorship to Troy Longman. Having attended both in the past, they are my favorite tournaments to attend.
