40 games are not enough. You have a difference between 1st and 2nd from 0.041, but a confidence interval from 0.080/0.097. So anything can happen when you expand. I think you need for minimum 1296 trials, but even then you have to look at the confidence interval. If both candidates would have a conf. under 0.02 at 0.04 difference, then i would begin to believe. I also would button up. I think, if you expand, this will also XG's choice.
