I was visualing a situation where a player often wins when hitting a shot and is often gammoned after missing. Certainly, these cubes while a game underdog are unusual. Your point is correct of course with respect to the vast majority of recubes. I'll stand by my statement that you give a lot of cube leverage by doubling at this score. And, that giving that leverage to players who don't know how to use it doesn't cost as much as the bots tell us. Double early against them.
