Question about cubeless rollouts in XG and GNU

In the gnubg rollout configuration dialog "First play both" tab, there is a check box called "Cubeful checker evaluation", which, strangely enough, you can check or uncheck independently of the status of the "Cubeful" check box on the "General settings" tab. Anyway, I have always expected cubeless rollouts to be "true" if both boxes are unchecked. I may be wrong of course.
