Very difficult to answer in general. Obviously you need to be in your doubling window, but where in the window as a minimum depends on volatility and remaining length of the game, among others.

For medium length games with moderate volatility such as here, I think you'd like to be in the top third of your doubling window before re-cubing. Just as a rule of thumb, which I think may be slightly too conservative.
