Can anyone explain this?

What I see as a difference here is the difference in value of NOT doubling. What if the game is settled with the winner getting 2 points?
At -3,-3, the value of 2 points to both players is the same.
However, at -4,-5, the value of 2 points (according to RK-MET) to the leader (-4) is 16.60% mwc, while the value of 2 points to the trailer (-5) is only 14.88% mwc.
By doubling at -4,-5, the leader is giving away the payout advantage he has by playing out the game at 2, whereas at -3,-3 no such advantage is being relinquished. So the -4,-5 player should be more hesitant to double.
