Good job of research. And compliments to:

1) Walter for developing this (of course),

2) CJC for publishing it and giving Tom permission...

3) Tom for reproducing the original article.

Just to correct a date (and I realize few today give a hangnail about such trivia -- should have been in school when I was...)

Inside Backgammon first issue is dated Jan-Feb 1991.
