But I'd mention one thing that I believe to be even more important: The team league.

This is the flagship tournament which really carries the DBgF. It's the tournament where we get to play a lot of long matches (22 x 4 17-pointers in the regular season per team). And even more important, that tournament adds a social element to backgammon like no other tour.

Can you write more details about Team League?

Does one team travel to other team's "headquarters" and there they play their league match, or all teams travel to one city and there are played all matches for that round?
Are players in team the same from beginning till the end of one season, or teams can change their players during the season?
There are 22 rounds in the league? That's 22 weekends, or do you play more rounds in one weekend?
etc, etc...
