Well, I'm glad I wasn't the one to introduce national politics. (Many postts are about BG politics.) I do agree that some subjects, including politics, can be over-discussed, and there are other fora more conducive to political rants. I also have appreciated Neil's contributions to the site and sportsmanlike conduct over the years. But as distasteful as it may be to read about Orrin Hatch, it would be a shame if posters censored out the political comments because of this kind of pressure. I have no trouble ignoring football posts; I see no reason why a political-phobe cannot ignore political posts.
