I apologize for being a bit overzealous in my response. My thought train jumped the tracks into considering powers of concentration -- in free association terms likely a big leap.

Rude, insensitive, self-centered actions, although they can be made more frequent with certain 'props', are really the problem of the person, not the equipment. The Dice Tube is a new device, and hopefully (deeper meaning than superficial) that will improve in the future.

Dice cups were (and still are) resisted by some in this world, just not the players we have at our T's. (The weekend after 9/11 there was a first and last new event in Montreal, run by the late John Brussel. From what I read, a player who reached the finals made a scene right before the Open finals match when he was required to use a dice cup!)
